Akshay Belhe

Basics of the Stock Market

Akshay is a junior and is one of the Stock Market Basics instructors. He discovered his passion for finance and the stock market while striving to stay productive in India and began teaching himself how to trade with apps on his phone. He has now been trading for over two years. During his free time, he enjoys photography as he is a frequent Getty Images contributor. He also enjoys hanging out with his friends and playing sports.

Tanav Chachad

Human Anatomy

Tanav is a junior and is very interested in the medical field, and different careers within it. He is a member of the Health Professionals Students of America, and was invited to be a part of their International Leadership Conference. Tanav loves spending his free time playing music, and is skilled in several different instruments as well. He is very excited to be sharing his passions by teaching human body systems and anatomy!

Ankit Devalla

Basics of the Stock Market

Ankit is a junior and has had a passion for economics and the Stock Market since Elementary School. At school, he participates in the Cash Club, a club that focuses around the Stock Market. Additionally, he has participated in Band at his school and has played on the Basketball team. He has earned All-Region honors for band 3 years in a row, due to his work ethic, which is a driving force behind his passions. In his free time, he enjoys hanging out with his friends and playing basketball. 

Krutin Devesh


Krutin is a Junior and is excited to be teaching Intro to Economics! As a Calculus III student and a member of the debate team, Krutin is frequently in discussion about theoretical and practical implications of economic policies. Outside of class, Krutin enjoys spending his free time reading, playing basketball with friends, and watching tv shows.

Sriya Dommaraju

Bollywood Dance

Sriya Dommaraju is a junior and has been learning Bollywood dance since she was 5 years old and has also developed a passion for chorale music. Through her experience she has performed as a back up dancer for many well known Indian film stars and also uses her talent to raise money for charity. She is currently part of the senior troupe at Arya Dance Academy where she continues her journey and is now excited to share her passion with others in her course, Introduction to Bollywood Dance.

Nathan Gong


Nathan is a Sophomore and serves as an instructor for ‘Mandarin 101’. He’s been speaking Mandarin for over 14 years and is excited to teach it! He is on his school’s Debate leadership team, co-founder of an Operation Smile branch, and is the Webmaster at a nonprofit. He’s done community service through campaign volunteering and Teen court. He is also a part of clubs like NHS and Model UN. In his free time, he enjoys hanging out with friends, playing basketball, and going on walks.

Ayan Khan


Ayan is a junior who is passionate about debate and computer science. He actively debates on the national level and has taken multiple AP courses in computer science. He is in multiple student led organizations such as Student Wellness and Leadership, Model United Nations, and Business Professionals of America. In his free time he loves to bake, play the violin, and read.

Harsha Kosuri

Medical Research: Pathogens

Harsha is a junior and has worked with professors at Brown University on studying and researching pathogens. He has helped researchers in the Tiny Earth project find potentially viable antibiotics and has extensive knowledge in this field. Additionally, he is also a competitive sabre fencer and fences on the national level. Harsha enjoys reading and talking with his friends in his free time.

Anushka Kumar


Anushka is a junior and has enjoyed learning working with economic topics for 3 years now. She virtually interned at a consulting firm this past summer, where she sorted and worked with financial data. Moreover, she actively competes in International Extemporaneous speaking through Speech and Debate, and she has had success at both state and national tournaments. Outside of this, Anushka is an Indian Classical Dancer, and will complete her dance debut in 2021.

Louis Li


Louis Li is a current junior and is a freelance photographer based in Dallas, Texas. As a photographer, he has had experience taking photos for seniors, formals, and events. He is the founder of his school's Photography Club and loves to share his knowledge of the art form. Additionally, Louis is a visual artist/designer and has received multiple awards for his work. When not holding a camera or a paintbrush, Louis can be found making music, traveling, and trying new fruit teas.

Shreya Lokhande

Writing Analysis

Shreya is a freshman in high school. She is passionate about reading and has spent her time growing up in the library and in various advanced literature and reading classes. She has worked as a part of her school library's official staff and has taught similar courses in literature through the non-profit Chetana Organization, for which she was recognized and awarded. In her free time, she loves to bake and cook, as well as swim on her local swim team, and play the piano. 

Aashna Mangal

Human Anatomy

Aashna is a Junior teaching about human body systems and anatomy. She has been interested in the medical field since kindergarten and participated in Hosa, science fair. Also, she successfully used drug therapy on Leukemia cells in a research lab to see the effect! Aashna also does AP art in school and has been successful in competitions including:YAMS, VASE, and the National Celebrating Art Magazine competition! She also loves to hang out with her friends and walk her dog in her free time!

Kirti Moteka

Bullet Journaling

Kirti is a junior and a student in the International Baccalaureate. She is the Creative Director of her school's yearbook staff and has worked on many other journalistic platforms such as Stanford's 650 West and GENZ, an online student-led publication. In 2019, Kirti published and sold her bullet journal, and currently runs a YouTube channel and blog where she shares monthly content about bullet journaling. In her free time, Kirti loves baking, painting, and photography! 

Diya Nathan

Bollywood Dance

Diya is a junior and has been dancing since the age of 7. She has been practicing Bharatanatyam and Bollywood for over 6 years. From this she got many exciting opportunities like dancing with Bollywood's biggest celebrities such as Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in the 2018 Dabangg tour. Diya is also passionate member of IntelliChoice, where she volunteers to help underprivileged kids in math and choir, where she has been participating since 3rd grade.(All region choir member: 7th, 8th, 10th,11th).

Gregory Park

Video Editing

Greg Park is currently a junior in high school. Here at YPP, he is teaching "Introduction to Video Editing". He is excited to share his knowledge of video editing to open up a creative platform for aspiring students. He has multiple YouTube channels where he publishes many of his videos and he has been doing this for over 3 years. When Greg is not editing videos, he enjoys skating, dancing, and watching Netflix.

Mukund Ramachandran

Competition Math

Mukund is a junior and is excited to be teaching Competition Math. He has always had a passion for math and has gotten high scores in competitions like AMC 8 and AMC 10 and qualified for AIME. At school, he took AP Calculus BC last year and is currently taking AP Statistics. Additionally, he enjoys robotics and working in STEM related fields. He also enjoys playing soccer. In his free time, he enjoys playing sports, playing cello, and hanging out with friends.

Aadil Razack

Mobile Filmmaking

Aadil is a senior. He is a journalism director for Ampheros Media, an organization dedicated to Generation Z journalism. Aadil has been filming for several years and has experience using high-end software and equipment, such as the DJI Osmo Mobile 3, Adobe Premiere, and DaVinci Resolve. When he isn't doing schoolwork, Aadil spends his time writing, exercising, watching movies, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.

Vani Shah


Vani is a junior and an instructor of YPP, and will be teaching Art classes. She has been doing competitive art since she was 11 years old, and loves to learn about the history of artists and their pieces. She was Vice President of her high school as well as president of Unicef at her school this past year. She is also president of a nonprofit called Young Giving! In her free time, Vani loves to cook, dance, and speak on women’s rights and feminism as she is a large advocate!

Aadit Walia


Aadit is a Sophomore and serves as an instructor for the Introduction to Percussion class. He is a member of the marching band, co-captain of the drumline, first chair in the top band, and has been part of the band for five years. He is an aspiring debater and has had success with Science fair at the local and school levels. He is also a part of clubs such as UNICEF and NHS. In his spare time, he enjoys hanging out with friends and playing chess.

Matthew Zhou

Competition Math

Matthew is currently a junior in high school who is taking AP statistics. He has participated in math competitions such as AMC 8, AMC 10, and mathcounts from each year from 6th through 8th grade. He has gotten high scores in both AMC 8 and AMC 10. He has been a part of math club in high school. Some of his hobbies are sports and playing the cello. He often travels for fencing and has improved his social skills by constantly meeting new people.
