Audrey Lin

Heatlh & Fitness

Audrey is a freshman and has been swimming competitively for the past 7 years. She has placed top 5 at her state championship and raced at Eastern Zone and National swim meets. Additionally, she is on the cross country varsity team for her high school and plans to do track as well. In her free time, Audrey also enjoys painting, drawing, reading, and spending time with family and friends. She is very excited to be the Youth Passion Project's Health and Fitness instructor!

Sarah McNerney

Music

Sarah McNerney is a high school junior in Stamford, CT. She has trained  extensively in the musical arts and works extensively with children of all ages tutoring, babysitting, and teaching. She is also an active member in her school’s choir where she sings at various venues, even at Walt Disney World Candlelight Processional with celebrity narrator Gary Sinese. With her intense passion and her contagious admiration for music, Sarah is excited to begin teaching Introduction to Music!

Morgana McLeod

Story Writing

Morgana is a junior with several years of teaching experience enrolled in AP English for this school year. She has recently been recognized by a local chapter of the UN for her writing. Not only does she enjoy creative writing and story telling, she also has a passion for music and song writing and is enrolled in AP music theory. She is involved in several youth groups oriented towards social and environmental advocacy, and she is thrilled to be teaching story writing!

Amrutha Nandakumar

Harry Potter Book Club

Amrutha is a freshman teaching the Harry Potter Book Club. A voracious reader since she was young, Amrutha is passionate about books and frequents her local library. She is a member of her high school's student newspaper, its Model United Nations team, and its debate team. Being a huge Harry Potter fan, Amrutha, a self-proclaimed Slytherpuff is excited to explore the series with a set of young readers. When she isn't teaching or reading, she can often be found singing or painting. 

Hannon Stern

Bullet Journaling

Hannon is a freshman and an art enthusiast. She co-teaches the Introduction to Bullet Journaling class, and has been bullet journaling for a year. Hannon enjoys painting, journaling, crafting, photography, and more. Also a musician, Hannon plays the guitar, piano, and the oboe, as well as other instruments in the past. Hannon enjoys spending time with children and sharing her passions for art and music.

Leah Woodward

ASL, Bullet Journaling

Leah is a freshman in high school, and is teaching the Intro to American Sign Language class, as well as co-teaching the Bullet Journaling class. ASL is one of her passions, and something she has been interested in since a young age. This year she is taking ASL as a language in school, and is enjoying that. Leah spends her free time reading, bullet journaling, creating art, making crafts and projects, as well as spending time with her family, playing guitar and ukulele, and listening to music.

Christina Zhang

Digital Art

Christina is a freshman and has been drawing and doing art since about 4 years old, and has been developing her art skills and techniques since 5th grade through art lessons and personal projects. She's beginning to submit her works to Scholastic Art Awards and is passionate about helping others with their creativity. In her free time Christina likes to draw and read.
