Health and Fitness is a course that will assist students in improving their lifestyle by learning to balance their diets as well as staying fit. The lessons will cover varieties of different topics such as “The Best Ab Workout” as well as topics like “Good and Healthy Smoothie Recipes”. Every class will include one healthy recipe alongside a demonstration on how to make the recipe.

Psychology and Stress

If you are interested in how our mind works and adapts to our environment, this class is perfect for you. In this lesson, we will dive into how to handle stress from outside forces and how they can inadvertently change one's mindset. By catching this behavior early on and providing solutions, it will help students avoid overwhelming their minds and bodies as they grow older. This course will allow students to mature and develop their minds so that as they transition into adolescence, they will be able to manage oncoming stress and anxiety. 

Introduction to Taekwondo

(FULL) Section 2: Grades 7-8, Wed, Fri: 4PM- 4:45PM, CDT
Prerequisites: None

Students will learn techniques needed to defend themselves intelligently in threatening situations, while also developing discipline and self esteem. Taekwondo will help to develop your child's athletic abilities and self-awareness, and improves the child's capabilities in self-defense. Students will learn to master the basic kicks and blocks, and incorporate them into self defense skills.
