Katie Applegarth

Katie is currently an eleventh grader who is really excited to be teaching an intro course to environmental awareness. She is very passionate about the outdoors, and some of her favorite activities include biking, running, hiking, camping, and walking in the forest. She has been writing environmental articles for an online website since the summer, and she is also certified in Wilderness First Aid. In her spare time Katie can be found practicing field hockey, or playing the guitar on the beach.
