Session 22 Wrap Up!
Rounding off 2024, we are excited to share that Session 22 has been a successful and impactful learning experience for both our instructors and students. Below are some highlights from our instructors' classes during this session!
Abeer Sarfraz - Algebra 1 Instructor:
“One of the biggest highlights of this session was watching my students excel at the Kahoot games I created to consolidate the material for each class! It was a great opportunity for them to collaborate on questions they found challenging, ask for support when needed, and most of all, participate in some friendly "competition". After speaking to each of the regular attendees, I found that they loved this aspect of my class, and as such, I will continue to incorporate them into my lessons moving forward!”
Ishaan Bose - Exploring Number Sense, Arithmetic, and Basics of Geometry Instructor:
“A major highlight of this session was during the first few classes, when a parent had appreciated and valued me, for the effort I put in as a teacher. In addition, I had a good time during a friendly-competition in a teacher vs student Mathematics-based game. Lastly, when a student, quote by quote stated "I didn't know this class would be this fun" was a memorable moment for me, especially since this was my first session at YPP.”
Session 23 Registration is Coming Soon!
Session 23 Student Registration will open on January 11th! With an amazing team of diligent instructors, classes in fields ranging from STEM to humanities to fine arts, and great free learning opportunities for students, this session will have great learning opportunities for students!
